Vegas Altas Orange Wine- clean, delicate and dry, changes as it opens
This skin-fermented wine isn't your average Orange Dreamsicle. Clean, delicate and dry, the aromatics are pretty, floral and citrus-driven. On the palate, notes of peach, orange pith and dry warm earth. It is an intriguing orange wine that keeps you sipping as the flavors change as the wine opens.
The Vegas Altas Orange was made from equal parts Pardina and Cayetana, both native varieties of Extremadura. Skin contact of the fruit lasted one month in amphora. The wine was then pressed and aged for an additional year in amphora. SO2 additions during bottling were kept to a minimum.
