"This is 100% Semillon from a 1 hectare vineyard right near the ocean in Itata. The primary fermentation took about 3 weeks here and Roberto was doing 3 punch downs per day. So this is actually more extrative, has more skin contact, and is made more like a red wine than Roberto's actual red wines.
The Molino is deep and dense and long! It actually has a little bit of tannin woven in on the palate. It's a ripe sunny aromatic white that smells tropical. The aroma is a mix of aromatic tropical fruit with a whiff of spruce and mint as well. Roberto's Molino is super interesting, complex, and unique. " -Ned
