Menat Ji Jian Campania Rosato -blood orange, anise and basil
Aged in amphora for nine lunar cycles, this is a savory, vibrant rosato.
From vineyards over fifty years old in the Fragula cru at 450m high, this rose from Gaglioppo grapes embodies the style of wine that MENAT likes to make—which is to say, wines that they like to drink. They aim to enhance Gaglioppo’s floral and fruity expressions in this cuvee by working with partial wholecluster and partially destemmed fruit.
It has a beautiful brick red color and shows off a balsamic nose, with flavors of blood orange, anise, mint. This wine is lined with a silky layer of tannins and bright acidity. A spectacular wine with a savory and long persistance and mineral finish. Just 2,000 bottles produced. 13.5%abv
