La Ginestra Chianti- fuller red, well suited for pairing with dinner
This BIO farm is a group of young, like-minded men and women that work both hard and smart in the vineyards, and the cellar; the grow wines, raise bees/honey, vegetables, etc. Their approach (which some would classify as hands-off) in the vineyards is to farm in such a way as to let nature speak clearly, and quite beautifully.
A very clean drinking and fully natural Chianti made of 100% Sangiovese. The winery is non-interventionist, using no additives including no sulfite applications. Fermentation is with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks without temperature control.No filtering or fining is undertaken. Given 15 days on the skins this is a fuller red well-suited for paring with dinner.
