Based on the extremely rare Joannita, a fungus and disease resistant cross of Riesling, Seyve-Villard, Rulander and Gutedel developed in the late 60's. Matteo Furlani planted a small 1 hectare parcel of the variety 4 years ago. Spontaneous fermentation in steel with maceration on the skins for 6 days; natural refermentation in bottle without addition of sulphites. Aging of 6 months in steel.
