Fra i Monti is a young, exciting winery, founded in 2018, run by partners Rocco and Benedetto Leone. They are located in Terelle, in the province of Frosinone, in Lazio, about 110km southeast of Rome. Rocco and Benedetto also run a local, natural wine shop.
100% Maturano. Spontaneous fermentation in open vats with 8 days skin contact and no temperature control. Aged in amphorae, where it undergoes spontaneous malolactic fermentation. No filtering or fining, and no added sulfur.
