Albamar Mencia Fusco, an old favorite on wine bar nights
Albamar Fusco is a fresh wine that is easy to drink, well balanced and slightly spicy.
A very particular creation from inland Galicia, far from the sea. Specifically in the sub-area of Chantada. made with vines that are between 30 and 40 years old, planted on granite and clay soil and bathed by a continental climate.
The creator of this initiative, Xuxo Alba, is committed to minimum interventionism, both in the vineyard and in the winery. A grape that has been harvested at its optimum point of ripening, and that, once harvested and destemmed, is fermented with skins and without stems for 20 days. For it ageing, Albamar Fusco rests on lees for between 4 and 6 months in stainless steel tanks, resulting in small, high quality productions.
